Hey there, I'm Leah.

I am owner and lead photographer of Leah Michaud Photography. I am a New England traveling Wedding Photographer I proudly live in Maine.

If you're new here you are probably looking to see if I'm a good fit for you. Well, if you like; dogs, talking about the universe, and just being in nature then I'm sure we will get along just fine. Here's the scoop about my life... I was born and raised in the Capital of the most beautiful state in New England- Maine. I have a daughter named Luna, two Aussies. I reside about 15 minutes from where I grew up and I absolutely couldn't be happier.

Now to talk about my photography... I have loved photography my whole life. I was handed my first (used) DSLR at the age of 14. My best friends mom (who also shared a passion for photography) gifted it to me. I am thankful for that everyday of my life. My favorite things to photograph used to be sunsets and my best friends. When it came to college I ended up going to Maine College of Art (MECA) to pursue my photography degree. After spending a semester at what I assumed was my dream school, I fell out of love... I just wasn't enjoying it anymore. I moved on from Art to Athletic Training at University of Southern Maine. Two years after that I then created a family. After having my daughter, I fell back in love with photography. At that point, I knew every step I had taken, had led me in the right direction. So, here I am, five years later with a business I love and a family I couldn't be more thankful for.
